The Promise
Add years to your life — and life to your years
Healthy ageing isn't a supplement. It's knowing your biological age, which systems are ageing fastest, and which risks you've inherited.
This is our flagship program: a measured baseline, deep regenerative work here, and a re-test in 3–6 months to prove the direction of travel.
Is this program for you?
For people playing the long game
• You want to know your real age, not the one on your passport
• You've noticed your energy, recovery and focus aren't what they were at 35
• Something in your family history concerns you, and you'd rather know
• You'd rather prevent it now than treat it later
• You want a number you can move, and proof that you moved it
What you leave with
A number to beat, and a plan to beat it
Five things, in the order they happen — from the plan we design before you arrive to the roadmap you take home.

What we measure
The most complete picture we offer
Your doctor builds your panel from the full diagnostic range, based on your goals, history and family risk.
OMICmAge biological age
A blood-based epigenetic test developed by researchers at TruDiagnostic and Harvard University. It reads age-associated methylation patterns across approximately one million DNA sites to estimate your physiological age and guide prevention, monitoring and longevity planning.
PrimeGenome longevity panel
A longevity-focused genetic test analysing over 1,800 genes — evaluating ageing patterns, organ function risks and susceptibility to degenerative disease, for personalised preventive strategy.
StrokeGENOME
A targeted genetic assessment of 73 high-penetrance stroke-related genes. It identifies your inherited stroke risk so prevention and cardiovascular care can begin early.
GenomeLife
A comprehensive genetic test analysing 116 genes across 14 health panels, translating your DNA into practical guidance for nutrition, fitness and daily habits.
Comprehensive blood panel
Metabolic, lipid, inflammatory, thyroid, micronutrient and organ-function markers.
Full hormonal panel
A complete hormone profile for men and women — the basis for any hormone therapy, which is prescribed only following consultation with our doctor.
Physician physical assessment
Clinical examination, cardiovascular risk analysis, glucose analysis, body composition and grip strength testing.
Certified dietitian consultation
A session with our certified dietitian to build nutrition strategy around your results.

Private pick-up and drop-off, included with every program.
After you leave
The follow-up is part of the program
Three to six months after your stay you'll have a follow-up consultation — in person or by teleconsultation — to review your progress, re-test where relevant, and adjust your plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who will actually be treating me?
+
Dr Shirley Yuliana Kwee is our medical director — MBChB from Glasgow, GDFM from NUS Singapore, and certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Depending on what your program involves you may also see Dr Muhammad Nadim for regenerative work, or Dr Andrew Uidjaja, who has practised in Bali since 2008. You'll know who you're seeing before you arrive, not on the day.
Is SŌMA a medical clinic or a wellness spa?
+
A licensed medical clinic. Our licence is registered as Klinik Utama, number 10092501114890005. The distinction matters more than it sounds: it governs who is legally allowed to perform procedures, how products are sourced and stored, and what happens if something goes wrong.
How personalised is the program, really?
+
The diagnostics are fairly standard — you need much the same baseline picture whatever your goals are. What changes is everything after that. Two people booking the same duration can leave with very different protocols. Where we don't personalise is safety: if your bloodwork rules something out, it's out, regardless of what you arrived hoping for.
Do I have to decide everything before I fly?
+
No. The pre-arrival call exists to map your goals and order anything that needs lead time. A lot gets decided on day one, once your doctor has your results in front of them, and protocols get adjusted mid-program more often than not.
Is the first consultation genuinely free, or is there a catch?
+
Genuinely free, and there's no obligation to book afterwards. We'd rather establish on a video call that we're not the right fit than have you fly here to find out.
How much of my trip will this take up?
+
Less than most people expect. A single day runs roughly 09:00 to 17:00 with proper breaks. Longer programs are paced deliberately — usually a morning or an afternoon rather than a full day, so you still get Bali. Tell us what else is in your itinerary and we'll build around it.
What do I actually take home?
+
Your results explained in person, rather than emailed as a PDF you can't interpret. A written protocol covering nutrition, movement, supplementation and any ongoing therapy. And a follow-up consultation three to six months out.
Can my partner do this with me?
+
Yes, and plenty of couples do. Each person gets their own assessment and their own protocol — we don't run joint programs, because the entire point is that it's built around one person's results. Scheduling can be arranged so you're not waiting around for each other.
What if I need to change my dates?
+
Tell us as early as you can and we'll move things. Some diagnostics are ordered in advance, so very late changes can carry a cost — but we'll say so plainly rather than surprise you with it.
How do I pay, and do you work with insurance?
+
Payment is direct, by card or transfer, in Indonesian rupiah. We don't bill insurers, though we'll provide documentation if you want to claim afterwards. Whether it's covered depends entirely on your policy, and most travel and health policies don't cover elective preventive medicine.
What if I'm not happy with the results?
+
Come back in and we'll look at what happened. We won't promise outcomes in advance, because nobody honestly can, and a clinic that does should worry you. What we do commit to is measuring where you started, so the conversation afterwards is about data rather than impressions.
Why Bali? Should I be cautious about medical treatment abroad?
+
You should be cautious anywhere, and Bali has both excellent clinics and places you'd want to avoid. Reasonable questions to ask us or anyone else: Is the clinic licensed? Who performs the procedure? Where do the products come from? And can you see the batch details? We're happy to answer all four.
SŌMA is the first specialist longevity and anti-ageing clinic in Bali, funded by a UK- and Singapore-trained Medical Director, Dr Shirley Yuliana Kwee, with over 20+ years of clinical experience at top Asian clinics, implementing Singaporean standards of medical care. Our physicians are internationally trained in longevity, anti-ageing, and regenerative medicine and are members of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
What is biological age, and should I trust the number?
+
It's an estimate of how your body is ageing relative to your years, read from DNA methylation patterns. Treat it as a useful signal rather than a verdict. The number matters far less than the direction it moves when you re-test — which is why the re-test is built into the program.
What happens if the genetic testing finds something serious?
+
Your doctor talks you through it properly, in person, with context on what the risk actually means in practice. Inherited risk is a probability, not a diagnosis, and for most findings there is something useful to do about it. If you'd rather not know, say so before we run the panel — that's a legitimate choice.
How soon can I re-test?
+
Three to six months. Sooner than that and you're mostly measuring noise.
Is longevity medicine actually evidence-based, or is it hype?
+
Both exist in this field, which is why we publish our references. Some of what we do rests on very solid ground — grip strength, cardiorespiratory fitness and metabolic markers have decades of outcome data behind them. Other areas are newer and we'll say so rather than overselling.
I'm in my forties and I feel fine. Is this too early?
+
Feeling fine is the point. Most of what shortens healthspan builds quietly for years before it announces itself, and the window where it's cheap and simple to influence is exactly when you feel well.
